The local finance committee (LFC) of Panglao town convenes to tackle and determine the income stream of the town for the succeeding year, according to a report received by the Bohol Tribune on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
The report said that the meeting transpired on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
The meeting was presided over by Mayor Leonila Montero and attended by Jairus Fuderanan, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator; Lino Sumaylo, Municipal Budget Officer; Reina Guivencan; Municipal Treasurer; Teresita Narit-Maldo, CPA, representing the office of the Municipal Accountant; and Felix Fucanan II, a junior officer of the Municipal Budget Office.
The report baring recommendations were also manifested as to the appropriate tax and other revenue measures or borrowings which may be required to support the budget among other financial pieces of advice.
The meeting is timely as the town is in the midst of its position to respond to the challenges of the coronavirus disease.
