Barangay contact tracers activated
Tubigon, Bohol – The local government unit of Tubigon successfully conducts a training in two batches (as shown in the photo) in order to activate and equip the members of the barangay in matters about contact tracing team.
Attended by the representatives of each of the thirty-four barangays in the municipality, the training was held on August 11 & 12 at the Municipal Conference Hall of the Municipal Administrative Building, Potohan, Tubigon. The activity also aims to activate the composition of the tracing team by equipping the team members with the proper and necessary skills and knowledge and orienting them with their tasks and responsibilities as contact tracers. The training was organized by the offices of the Disaster and Risk Reduction Office, Municipal Planning and Development and Municipal Health.
Topics in the training included the following; Legal Mandates and Local Government Unit Roles with Ms. Jennifer Amihan; Local Ordinances and Policies to fight against Covid-19 pandemic with Municipal Council Secretary Karen Rosco; Overview and Background on COVID-19 & Current Situation with Municipal Physician Christa Mary Dabalos; Contact Tracing Work with Engr. RojerLindo; Data Collection and Data Reporting with Mr. Jeff Marie Quim & Ms. Joanna Faye Obdulia Reserva; Data Privacy with Mr. Rogelio Rosco, and Effective Communication Skills for Tracers with Ms. Amor Narvasa.
The training and activation of the barangay contact tracing team was largely based upon the recently passed executive order of the National Inter-Agency Task Force in our continued battle against COVID-19.
