The regional office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) distributes food packs each to the frontliners from Panglao town.

The food pack distribution happened last Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the Panglao Cultural Center, according to a report provided to The Bohol Tribune on Monday, August 17, 2020.

Food packs were distributed to each frontliner from different barangays of the said town, the report says. The report added that there were 404 food packs that were distributed.

The food pack project of the DSWD was initiated through the efforts made by office of first district representative Edgar Chatto.

Panglao mayor Leonila Montero led the ceremonial distribution of the food packs, with DSWD representative, and a delegation from Chatto’s office.

The congressman was ably represented in the activity by Board Members Ricky Masamayor and Aldner Damalerio and both are from the first district of Bohol.
Panglao town is part of Bohol’s first district.

Also in attendance during the activity was Don Castellano of the regional office of the DSWD, the report received by The Bohol Tribune said.
