The Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) taps the Terminal Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) in the information dissemination drive especially in matters about the minimum health protocols related to the coronavirus disease (Covid).

Police provincial director Col. Joselito Clarito launched the drive in Jagna town on Monday, August 17, 2020, according to reports reaching The Bohol Tribune on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

The drive will be launched in every town and lone city of Bohol, where TODA members will be playing through mobile sound system the audio carrying the message urging the people to follow the health protocols related to the prevention of the spread of the virus that causes Covid, reports bare.

The police have been going around in their respective jurisdictions to remind the people about the health protocols through a mobile sound system, which is locally known as “recorida”.

Clarito said the members of the TODA have a wider reach compared to the police. It is for this reason that they are the best partners to disseminate the information on the Covid minimum health protocols.

The BPPO and the local police stations enter in an agreement with the various TODA for the implementation of the information campaign.

Moreover, the Bohol police provincial director said that the TODA members are more than willing to participate in the information drive.

According to the same report, the BPPO will provide the audio materials that will be used by the TODA in the so-called recorida as a means to educate the riding public on the health protocols related to the prevention of the spread of Covid.
