TWO NEW SHOPS INAUGURATED. Two new business establishments in the city have just opened their doors to clients. These are the King Cab Service Center and SKYGO Marketing Corporation. He is being accompanied by Dao Barangay Kagawad Flor Cornell, Area Manager Jeffrey Betio, and officiating priest Fr. Butch Palapar. These shops are located at Purok 3 J.A. Clarin Street, Dao District, Tagbilaran City.

Mayor Yap expresses gratitude to DA

The City Government of Tagbilaran is expressing its gratitude to the Department of Agriculture Region 7 through its regional director for the turnover of the 1st batch of native chickens to the Women Associations in Tagbilaran City. Dao Punong Barangay Bert Puagang (please see photo) is shown receiving the donation from the DA representative. Dr. Genette Egos of the City Agrivet Office will conduct training sessions among the beneficiaries of the boon to prepare and capacitate them in taking an entrepreneurial role in the city. The mayor has been showing his full support to the program especially to the women leaders who have been actively involved in laying out the foundation of the group, Mayor Yap said: “The City Government is grateful to the active involvement of our women in the barangays. Their engagement has given us the inspiration to find creative ways to do business. The partnerships we have forged with different organizations have provided an avenue of growth. This collaboration plays a pivotal role in our goal of empowering women to be self-sufficient and productive.” Tagbilaran City Women Coordinator Margie Buhay said various programs are lined up for the women’s group.
