Police seize P 340K worth of suspected shabu

Police seize P340,000 worth of suspected shabu following a drug buy bust operation in Jagna town on Saturday, August 22, 2020, a police report says today, Monday, Aug 24, 2020.

The two suspects are considered to be high value individuals and included in the police’s drug watchlist.

The report says the police identified the suspects as Hadju Farhanah Mamao, 47, and Macapoli Diamia, 46, both of purok 2, barangay Tejero, Jagna town.

The report bares that a composite team from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Jagna police station conducted the buy bust operation in barangay Tejero, around 4:15 pm last Saturday.

The Police confiscated at least four (4) sachets, in various sizes, containing a crystalline substance believed to be shabu. The police also seized the money used in the buy bust operation, the report adds.

The police said the estimated weight of the confiscated suspected shabu is at 50 grams.

The suspects are now under police custody and will be facing charges of violation of Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
