16 new Covid cases in Talibon

Gov. Arthur Yap reports that there are 16 new coronavirus disease (Covid) cases recorded in Talibon town, following the release of the report from the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) molecular laboratory. The report was released last Thursday, August 27, 2020.

About 14 new positive cases are from Guindacpan Island, one (1) case is from barangay San Jose and one (1) case is from barangay Tanghaligue.

All of the new Covid-positive patients have no travel history, and neither overseas Filipino workers nor locally stranded individuals, Yap said.

They are all products of contact tracing, the governor revealed.

Guindacpan Island remains under lockdown and the two (2) new cases from barangay San Jose and barangay Tanghaligue are already isolated.
