Third district Rep. Tutor reaches out to her constituents

DSWD hands food packs to 3rd district PWDs

The Department of Social Welfare and
Development hands food packs to persons with disability (PWD) in the third ‘district, according to reports.

The distribution of food packs happened on August 25, 2020 according to an information from the office of
third district representative Kristine Alexie Tutor.

The latest food pack distribution involved the last batch of PWDs in the third district of the province.

Tutor dedicated the month of August to all registered PWD, especially in the third district.

The information said that 164 individuals
from Bilar, 101 PWDs from Sevilla, and 158 beneficiaries from Batuan received food packs during the latest food pack distribution activity.

According to the information from the solon’s office, 6,129 PWDs benefitter from the food pack distribution program of the DSWD in the third district of Bohol.

Moreover, Tutor said that the PWD are a
vulnerable sector of society especially during this time of the pandemic.

“May this simple gesture of recognition on this sector encourage all others to register and await the benefits set forth by the government,” Tutor said.

TDP scholarship fund gets released to
scholars

The Tulong-Dunong Program (TDP)
scholarship funds gets distributed to qualified scholars in Bohol Island State University (BISU) Main in Tagbilaran.

The distribution happened on August 25, 2020, in the main campus of BISU in Tagbilaran City.

According to the information from the office of third district solon, the scholarship fund beneficiaries have been awaiting the release of the fund for the long while.

There are about 660 students from the third district who are beneficiaries of the said program, according to the information coming from the solon’s office.

The same information said that fifty-nine (59) student-beneficiaries of BISU-Tagbilaran received the scholarship stupend valued at P15,000.

Moreover, the TDP scholarship fund is given annually to qualified scholars from the third district.

Tutor leads leadership awards rites

Third district solon Kristine Alexie Tutor leads the awarding rites of the Cong. Alexie Tutor Leadership Awards at the Bohol Island State University (BISU) Bilar campus on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 according to the information from the solon’s office.

Meanwhile, the solon visited the Alpha
company of the 47th Infantry Battalion (IB) stationed at Riverside, Bilar also last August 26, 2020.

The two (2) activities are indicators that thethird district solon has been busy touring around her district.
