More than 55K familes in Bohol receive rice packs from PGBh

Each family in Bohol, numbering to almost 55,520, receives rice packs from the provincial
government (PGBh), according to data from the Capitol.

The information was revealed during the weekly press conference at the Capitol on Friday, August 28, 2020

Gov. Arthur Yap said that families in the towns of Baclayon, Corella, Alicia, Guindulman, Duero, Batuan, Bilar, Alburquerque, and Sevilla have each received rice packs containing eight (8) kilos of rice and the Bohol contact tracing card.

He added that the PGBh will conclude the distribution of rice packs in Loon town this coming week.

Moreover, after Loon, families in the town of Loboc will be the next ones to each receive rice packs and the Bohol contact tracing cards from the PGBh.

The governor said that the cards that were distributed together with the rice packs will greatly boost the contact tracing efforts of the health authorities, Yap mentioned.
