TRAINING FOR ACCURATE DATA GATHERING. 57 selected enumerators (photos 1 & 2) of 2020 Census of Population and Housing from hundreds of applicants start their 6-day 4th Level Training last August 24, 2020 in Inabanga Gym. Spearheading the training is Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Bohol Chief Statistical Specialist Jessamyn Anne C. Alcazaren and facilitated by Statistical Specialist II Blecila M. Paredes and Administrative Officer 1 Kevin O. Marasigan. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 3), as Chairman of Municipal Census Coordinating Board, expresses her gratitude to PSA Bohol for the collaboration in her opening remarks broadcasted thru the gym’s LED wall (photo 4). She encourages the enumerators as part of teamINABANGA to serve the public dutifully and with pride. She then advises them to strictly observe minimum public health standards and to set an example in their assigned barangays on how to follow COVID-19 protocols. teamINABANGA extends its full support to the implementation of this endeavour by providing necessary logistics, manpower and local registration center among others. Its overall aim is to gather accurate information which are beneficial as baseline data of various institutional, economic, social, environmental, security and agricultural plans among others used in governing the municipality. WELCOME TO INB. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy together with SB Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 1) welcome the new PNP Chief of Inabanga Station PEMS JOSE OLIVER JOSOL last August 24, 2020 at her office thru videoconferencing. Also with the new chief are PEMS QUIRINO L MAR, PSMS JOSE MITCHELL L NIODA and Nurse IV Ma. Rolinda J. Melecio (photo 2). During the courtesy call, Mayor Roygie orders the uniformed personnel to continue the strict enforcement of COVID-19 protocols across 50 barangays and to strengthen more the partnership with the medical team (photo 3) as they are the core members of the municipality’s contact-tracing team especially now with the rapid increase of local transmission in the neighbouring municipalities. TRAINING TO LIVELIHOOD. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 1) together with SB Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 2) lead the videoconferencing meeting with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Training Center (PTC) – Inabanga Center Administrator Juanito B. Tumanda, SB Member Nilo Petecio and ICoNS Head Frank S. Baylosis Jr. (photo 3) last August 26, 2020 at the Office of the Mayor. Discussed during the meeting is the incoming opening of various TESDA’s free short-term courses under Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) and Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP). Classes, both in online and offline mode, will start in the second week of September 2020 and open only to all Inabanga residents. Also tackled with the group (photo 4) are the “new normal” policies and health protocols that will be strictly implemented like limited students, physical distancing, placing of foot baths, handwashing station, wearing of face mask and face shield and others in compliance with the directives from health authorities. teamINABANGA is vital for the establishment of PTC-Inabanga in 1995 until presently by extending financial support, manpower, and other assistance in line with Mayor Roygie’s livelihood program.
