Talibon records another community transmission case for covid 19

Gov. Arthur Yap, in a statement, reveals that a person from barangay San Roque in Talibon, tests positive for coronavirus disease (Covid) following a report released by the Bohol polymerase chain reaction (PCR) laboratory.

The report was released on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020.

The new case is considered a community transmission as the patient had no travel history. The patient is not a locally stranded individual (LSI) nor an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).

Yap said Talibon mayor Janette Garcia has been informed about the latest case as contact tracing activities have already been initiated by teams from the Department of Health, Provincial Health Office, Philippine National Police and the Rural Health Unit of Talibon.
