At the port of Talibon, Gov. Art Yap leads the Ceremonial Turnover of Philippine Rural Development Project-Global Environment Facility (PRDP-GEF) provincial local government unit (LGU) pumpboats to the first five (5) coastal barangays among the target beneficiaries.The first five recipients are barangays Guindacpan and Cataban in Talibon; Hingotanan West and Bilang-bilangan East in Bien Unido; and Saguise in President Carlos P. Garcia. These pumpboats will be used by the police and Philippine Coast Guard seaborne patrol teams who are guarding the borders.

Art Yap drops by to greet town officials led by Mayor Judith Cajes, Vice-Mayor Manuel Garcia, Councilor Joan Cajes-Imboy, former Second District congressman Roberto Cajes, and DepEd personnel. To observe physical distancing, this year’s celebration is different sans the usual revelry. The governor calls on the government employees to love their job. The people expect government to protect them. The people expect government to serve them. The governor explains that reopening business has to be gradual to ensure that the minimum health standards can be observed and the people are protected from infection. He also shared that National Capital Region admires Bohol. They appreciate that Bohol is doing a good job because of the mayors’ help. The governor is only one person. It is the cooperation of the people that helped Bohol do a good job.
