PSA employees visit Panglao Mayor
Employees of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) pay Panglao Maor Nila Montero a courtesy call in her office.
The Sept. 3, 2020 PSA visit is intended to inform the mayor of the upcoming survey activities in relation to the 2020 Census and Housing (CPH) matters.
Based on information gathered by The Bohol Tribune, about fifty (50) enumerators who are from Panglao are being hired to conduct the survey. These enumerators underwent screening procedures from the Public Employment Services Office of Panglao under the baton of Officer-Designate Apolinar Fudalan.
Mayor Montero has also given official orders to Arthur Bagcat, Gender and Development Focal Person of Panglao, and Deonico “Deo” Guden, Barangay Affairs Executive Assistant to the Office of the Mayor to offer assistance to the enumerators and personnel of PSA in their survey activities.
Face masks, face shields, disinfectants, umbrellas, and bags for the questionnaires are being provided to all who will conduct the survey.
The lady mayor is personally urging all the people of Panglao to support and actively participate in the survey activities.
According to the PSA, each household respondent has an average of 15-30 minutes of face-to-face interaction with the enumerators.
Census takers are supposed to cover all the houses in their assigned areas.
