Gov. Arthur Yap, in two different statements, reports that there are five (5) new coronavirus disease (Covid) cases in Bohol. The statements were released on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020.
Yap said three (3) locally stranded individuals (LSI) are from San Miguel, one (1) LSI is from Jagna and one (1) is from Dimiao. All of them tested positive for Covid based on the report from the Bohol polymerase chain reaction(PCR) laboratory.
All are currently in isolation as all concerned mayors have been informed of the new cases, Yap said.
He added that contact tracing activities are now being conducted.
