Brig. Gen. Albert Ignatius Ferro stays as Police Regional Office 7 (PRO7) chief after the order of his reassignment gets canceled based on a special order. This information was provided to The Bohol Tribune this afternoon.
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen.. Camilo Casfolan canceled an earlier order to reassign Ferro through Special Order No. 626 dated Sept. 9, 2020.
Cascolan’s cancellation order was made effective through Maj. Gen. Joselito Vera Cruz, the acting chief of the Directorial Staff.
In the special order, it was not mentioned why the previous order got canceled.
In an earlier order dated Sept. 8, 2020, Ferro was relieved from his post as regional director of PRO 7 and replaced by Panglao native, Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo.
Moreover, Ferro will no longer proceed as the new chief of the of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Southern Luzon as a result of the cancellation of the Sept. 8, 2020 order.
