CPG town’s modern fire station gets inaugurated

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Bohol inaugurates a modern fire station in Carlos P. Garcia (CPG) town. The inauguration rites took place on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2020, according to Provincial Fire Marshal Fire Chief Insp. Raul Bustaliño.

Bustaliño revealed the information about the CPG town fire station in a Facebook post today, Sunday.

He said Gov. Arthur Yap, Cong. Erico Aristotle Aumentado, Board Member Frans Garcia, and CPG town mayor Fernando Esravilla graced the occasion.

The new fire station building is worth P 7.4 million and is located at barangay Poblacion.

Meanwhile, the provincial fire marshal said that soon to rise in CPG town is the satellite unit of Bohol BFP divers that will provide support to the dive sites of this island town, shaping up to be an important eco-tourism destination.
