LGU-Tagb cops PRIME-HRM bronze award from CSC

The local government unit (LGU) of Tagbilaran cops the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human ResourceManagement (PRIME-HRM) bronze award from the Commission on Civil Service (CSC).

Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II bared the latest achievement in a Facebook post on his verified page on Sept. 11, 2020.

He said that Tagbilaran City was able to pass the rigid selection process by the CSC thus qualifying for the award.

The PRIME-HRM is a program that assesses the HRM practices, systems and capabilities of government agencies as well as entails greater engagement not just of the human resource (HR) officers but also of the officials and the rank-and-file employees of the agencies, the mayor said in his post.

The mayor added that the award aims to elevate public sector HR management to a level of excellence and is one of the programs of the CSC.

Moreover, the mayor expressed his appreciation to the city HR officer Karina Mae Uy and city administrator Cathylyn Torremocha for their efforts that led to the award given to Tagbilaran City.
