Valdez; Philippine Information Agency Melva Gayta; and Department of Agriculture Eugenia Briones. teamINABANGA’s MSWMB (photo 4) presents the updated 10-year Solid Waste Management Plan to NSWMC for deliberation and approval in compliance with Republic Act No. 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 which provides for a comprehensive ecological solid waste management program by creating the necessary institutional mechanisms and incentives, appropriating funds, declaring certain acts prohibited and providing penalties to violators.
