Balilihan Mayor Pureza Chatto is thankful to the family of Manong Albino and Manang Martina Mano of Hanopol. Both are now residing at Danao, Bohol and both donated a piece of land to the local government unit (LGU) of Balilihan for the Water Works project of the town. This really means a lot to the people of Balilihan according to Mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto. The mayor said, “Every drop of water reverberates your kindness and generosity.
We are sincerely grateful! God bless you and your family.”
This time, the Balilihan mayor is studying the map of Hanopol to identify lots that will be traversed by the huge water pipes of the Bulk Water Supply project of Balilihan. A large part of the area is along barangay and national roads
Balilihan Mayor Pureza Chatto reports about the preparations for SUMAD 2020 Virtual Celebration. The mayor is with Cong. Edgar Chatto. Fr. Lito Geangan, Municipal Planning and Development Council officer (MPDC) Deedee Racho, videographer Harold Bonso Lansang,and Nimia Lungay.
The young lady mayor bares the ongoing rehabilitation of the driveway from the municipal gym to the front of the Old Town Hall to connect to the concrete pavement of the Balilihan Presidencia .
The BAWOD (Balilihan Association of Women for Development) leaders Virgie Lansang, Melen Layaw and Penny Terec visit Balilihan Mayor Pureza Chatto in the latter’s office to ask
the mayor to become a member of their chat group. In the same visit, the group invited the mayor for a Zoom meeting about their livelihood projects on the making of banana chips, papaya pickles and meat processing. Mayor Chatto also said that the group is looking into develop new skills using digital technology with the help of the Department of Trade and Industry.
