PhiTEx delegate tests positive for Covid

A delegate in the recently-concluded Philippine Travel Exchange (PhiTEx) tests positive for Coronavirus disease (Covid) after taking the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test in Metro Manila. The delegate got tested for Covid on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, a statement coming from Gov. Arthur Yap said on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.

The report of the governor did not identify the delegate. Customarily, Covid-positive patients are not identified per data privacy laws.

It was not mentioned in the governor’s statement if whether or not the virus was contracted here in Bohol or elsewhere.
