COLLECTIVE NEGOTIATION AGREEMENT (CNA). It was a momentous day for the Tagbilaran City Government Employees Union (TCGEU) as the renewal for the CNA for 2020 was signed by City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap and TCGEU President Ceasar Pelaez, as witnessed by City Mayor Jose Antonio Veloso, City Administrator Cathelyn Torremocha, City Legal Officer Atty. Kathy Blanche Borja-Jamila, and Atty. Colleen Guantero. Despite the pandemic, the City Government and the TCGEU are committed to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of the mandate they have sworn to uphold. The CNA has been very special to Tagbilaran City, especially under the administration of Mayor John Geesnell L. Yap II, for it was under his term that the signing of the Collective Negotiation Agreement was first realized. In December 2014, through the hard work and efforts of all the officers and members of the TCGEU, the employees of the City Government received its first CNA cash incentive. And there was no stopping the financial blessings from coming year after year.
