The Municipality of Panglao is almost ready with its pontoon – a bridge to be used as a floating landing stage. Panglao Mayor Leonila Montero says that the completion of the pontoon at the mini-port is a realization of a dream. The pontoon, located on the waters off the Panglao town plaza at barangay Poblacion, will be used as the venue for the “one-entry, one-exit” passage for all water-related tourism activities in the town. Currently, the pontoon is nearing its completion and once done, it will be turned over to the local government unit (LGU) of Panglao.
