Fabre (photo 1) in partnership with teamINABANGA, as host venue, led by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy (photo 2) successfully holds the INREMP Convergence of Stakeholders for the Sustainability of LES-1 Subprojects in the Wahig-INaBanga River Basin Province of Bohol last September 28, 2020 in Inabanga Gym. SB Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 3) warmly welcomes other participants (photo 4) including Congressman Aris Aumentado, Danao Mayor Jose Cepedoza, INREMP INaBanga Focal Person Boyet Abella, Officer-in-charge Provincial Focal Person Candido D. Salces Sr., Technical Extension Officer Romy Teruel, LEDAP Jess Bernasor, Department of Labor and Employment Senior Labor and Employment Officer Elbert M. Avenido, Agricultural Promotion Center Manager Roman M. Dabalos, FABLAB Manager Jerome Manatad, Wahig-Inabanga River Basin President Adriano Bagsarsa and 3 members each from the 9 Peoples Organizations (PO) of Inabanga and 3 from Buenavista. The meeting is held to present DENR-INREMP’s successful convergence initiatives, programs and interventions implemented for the sustainability of all beneficiaries inside the Wahig-Inabanga River Basin. BEEFING UP INB’S CONTACT TRACING TEAM. teamINABANGA led by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy together with SB Member Jono Jumamoy (photo 1) spearheads the orientation before the deployment of 19 newly-hired Contact Tracers (photo 2) of Inabanga last October 1, 2020 in Inabanga Gym. Witnessing the program are Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Eunice Anne Caballo who does the official turnover of the contact tracers to the teamINABANGA, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Edar Rospan Ajo with the rest of the medical team, Police Executive Master Sergeant (PEMS) JOSE OLIVER JOSOL, Senior Fire Officer (SFO4) VICENTE JUNAMOY and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Maria Evelyn Socajel (photo 3). The contact tracers (photos 4 & 5) go through a series of basic safety and profiling training. Mayor Roygie in her message broadcasted via LED wall expresses its gratitude to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for institutionalizing and funding this program aimed to complement Inabanga’s own contact tracing teams. The lady mayor then inspires the new contact tracers to be always of service as new public servants. Hiring of contact tracers is part of the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act or Bayanihan 2 Law aimed to work in tandem with the local government units. (Inabanga Communications and News Service / ICoNS)
