All 1st gen contacts are negative for Covid

All first generation contacts are negative for Coronavirus disease (Covid) following the release of the test results.

Gov. Arthur Yap made the revelation via a statement released to the media on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020.

He made the revelation a day after he told the public that he is negative of the virus causing Covid.

Tour guides of the Bohol Federation of Travel and Tour Operators (BOFETTO), Manila-based sellers who attended the Philippine Travel Exchange (PhiTEx), Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) staff, Bellevue hotel staff, tourism stakeholders, members of the PhiTEx technical working group (TWG), provincial officials and staff and all identified first generation close contacts are negative for Covid, the governor said in his statement.

Moreover, the governor and first district Rep. Edgar Chatto tested negative for Covid as they got tested prior to the batch of people whose results came out on Sunday.

With the negative results, it is expected that those in government service who were subjected to quarantine will return to their respective duties.
