Bohol records 2 new Covid cases

Gov. Arthur Yap reports that there are two (2) new Coronavirus disease (Covid) cases recorded following the reports coming from the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital molecular laboratory and Bohol polymerase chain reaction (PCR) laboratory.

The report of the governor was released on Monday evening, Oct. 5, 2020 via Kevin Damalerio, the information cluster head.

The governor said a locally stranded individual (LSI) from Anda and a resident from Dauis are the new patients afflicted with the virus causing Covid.

The resident from Dauis is not an LSI nor an (OFW). Said resident doesn’t also have any travel history, the governor said.

He added that the Provincial Health Office, Department of Health, Philippine National Police are working with the respective Rural Health Units (RHU) for the contact tracing activities.
