Alturas, Purefoods donate copier machine

As some of the public schools nationwide are having a difficult time reproducing modules and worksheets due to printing cost, the Alturas Group of Companies (AGC) and San Miguel Purefoods Corp. donated a brand new copier machine to a school in Dauis town.

In time for the school opening last October 5, Purefoods distributor/manager, Mr. Ricky Optina, together with Mrs. Peregrina Calestro and Roy Jaictin of AGC, personally turned-over the high-quality OKI printer to the Tabalong Elementary School (TES) in Brgy. Tabalong, Dauis, last October 1.

School principal, Mr. Julius Rañises, and the faculty and staff of TES personally thank the AGC and Purefoods, through Mr. Optina, for the donation of the new printing machine which will help speed up the reproduction of Modules and Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) of the pupils for the School Year 2020-2021.

Teachers present during the turn-over were Jennifer Gamayon, Jennifer Aranas, Marystil Loquinario, Lorenza Lomosbog, Primitiva Geraldizo, Consolacion Tagupa, Susana Micabani, Elah Mae Pormento, Marebeth Arabaca, Analiza Palma, Divina Arasan, Zenaida Galorio, Victoria Bandija, Necita Sumaylo, Erna Samuya, Mary Ann Torillo, Miraflor Optina, Jean Tagoc, and Angelito Morala.

Meanwhile, as ensuring food to eat during lockdown and quarantine is important, the Alturas Group of Companies and Unilever spice it up with a donation of thousands of boxes of Knorr goods and other products delivered to some humanitarian organizations like the Philippine National Red Cross and other charitable institutions here, including jailhouses in the province and hospitals where thousands of medical frontliners are working.

This is a part of the Alturas Bayanihan 2020 community outreach program of Alay Marcela Foundation whose objective is to reach out to our beloved unfortunate brethren especially in these trying times.
