Yap visits Buenavista town; gives P1M in funds to LGU
Gov. Arthur Yap visits Buenavista town as he continues his sorties to distribute rice packs and the contact tracing cards. Yap’s Oct. 12, 2020 visit to Buenavista is proving to people that the governor wants to reach out to as many Boholanos as possible.
The governor also helped in the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) distribution of livelihood kits to entrepreneur beneficiaries of the said town under the Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) program.
The governor was accompanied by DTI-Bohol Provincial Director Maria Soledad Balistoy, Vice-Mayor Christine Torregosa, Board Member Frans Garcia, Donglee Camacho, who represented Second District Rep. Aris Aumentado, and Buenavista municipal officials.
The governor met the recipients/beneficiaries from barangays Cambuhat, Dait Norte, Bugaong, and Cantomogcad at the basketball court in Cambuhat; and the recipients in barangays Cantuba, Cawag, Anonang, Montana, and Lusong at the covered court in Cantuba.
Not less than 45 beneficiaries of the LSB-NSB received the kits and they are from the barangays of: Asinan, Bato, Bonotbonot, Cambuhat, Cruz, Lubang, Magkaya, Panghagban, and Sweetland.
