Chatto helps distribute food support to beneficiaries in Calape, Tubigon
Cong. Edgar Chatto helps in the distribution of food support to the differently-abled sector and those living alone in Calape and Tubigon towns, according to an information from the office of the first district representative sent to The Bohol Tribune on Oct. 15, 2020.
In Calape, the same information said, Chatto was joined by Mayor Nelson Yu, Board Member Aldner Damalerio and Board Member Ricky Masamayor for the said activity.
The distribution program is an initiative of Chatto in cooperation with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) represented by Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) Bohol officer-in-charge (OIC) Jimmy Crusio to provide assistance to the some sectors affected by the pandemic.
Chatto also turned over wages to 4th batch of beneficiaries who reside in Calape under the temporary employment program, known as Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced (TUPAD) that he facilitated with the help of Departmenr of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Meanwhile, Chatto led in the distribution of food assistance to Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in Tubigon together with Mayor William Jao and Vice Mayor Rene Villaber.
The program is an initiative of Chatto in partnership with local government unit (LGU) Tubigon and the DSWD.
He was joined by Damalerio, Crusio, Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member Delia Lasco, SB member Ernest Paulo Mascarinas, Municipal Social Welfare and Developmemt Officer (MSWDO) Reynaldo Envidiado, Dr. Bob Bernabe Batausa, Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) President Anna Frajele, Punong Barangays and Persons with Disabilities Association (PDA) barangay presidents.
In a related development, Damalerio also turned over personal protective equipment (PPE), from the Office of Vice President Leni Robredo.
