Mga Pulong sa Kasukô

Ang Ininglis adunay daghang mga pulong nga magapadayag sa kasukô, kaligútgot o kapungot. Ang Binisayâ aduna usab ing daghan nga mga pulong nga tumbas sa Ininglis nga anger, angry, irk ubp. Atong tukibon kining maong mga pulong.

1. alingít Reprimand, with a connotation of anger (Kp: buyág).

2. alipúndak Rage; violent anger. (Kp: hási).

3. áyat To provoke into anger by insulting.

4. bagúlbol To talk with anger but not expressed to the one who is the cause of resentment. (Kp: gámpa; gúmbol).

5. bagútbot To talk in a low tone of voice that is not audible, with anger being manifested. (Kp. gúmbol).

6. bánghit To speak with a trace of anger in the voice. (Kp: ngúlob).

7. binkid- To be angered by disagreeable words.

8. búog Lasting anger and passion.

9. kaíktan (b.p. itok). To be scolded; to be the object of one’s anger (Kp: kasáb-an; púoy).

10. kaligútgot (bp. ligútgot). Indignation; animosity: righteous anger. (Kp: súngot).

11. Kapungót (b.p. pungót). Anger, ire; fury. (Kp: kasukô).

12. kasukô (b.p. sukô). Anger, outrage; infuriation. (Kp: kaítok; kalágot; kapungót).

13. kúlat To shout and raise one ‘s voice in anger. (Kp. siyágit).

14. Kulirá – (Sp: colera – anger, fury). A mild cuss word used in the eastern part of Bohol province. Also, makapungót.

15. kuwáhab To shout in anger without listening to the opponent.

16. dangúlngol The cry of anger of a person for not being able to take revenge. (Kp: mintis).

17. dasadásaTo trample strongly by walking on intentionally due to anger. (Kp:tunúbtunobán).

18. giawót Anger; irritation; annoyance; wrath. (Kp: sápot). Also, giáwt.

19. hágis (Arabic: yugiz = anger). Become wild due to anger; fulminate; rampage. (Kp: hási; sapot);

20. hángit To be discomfited or irked to the point of anger. (Kp: sápot).

21. init Incite; instigate to anger. (Kp: húlhog; súlsol).

22. lábha To become red in the face due to anger.

23. lágot Disgust; sore at; exasperation: indignant; pique; miff, snit. (Kp: pungót; itok; labák).

24. lipúglipóg To display or manifest anger or displeasure by body action. (Kp: nuyô).

25. liwök A suppressed anger due to not being able to take vengeance. It is manifested through an intense staring.

26. lungútlungót(b.p. lungót). Impatient; rush into anger.

27. mangulípas (bp. ngulípas). To deny vehemently with anger and cussing words. (Kp: mangmintis).

28. mintís (Sp: mentis = you lie). To cuss; to curse in anger. (Kp: gimô; ngulipas).

29. namíntas (bp. pintas). To become very fierce and violent especially due to anger. (Kp: kulútbot; nanghimungót).

30. palágot (b.p lágot). To incite to anger; to provoke. (Kp. pasukô; paítok).

31. pamínti- (b.p. minti). Enrage; be trembling in anger. (Kp: sukô).

32. pikál – (Sp: pecar). Peeve; upset; irk; vex. (Kp: aburido; lágot).

33. pingót A slight anger and irritation. It is a variant of pungót.

34. puót Pent-up, as anger. (Kp: huót).

35. sápot Temper tantrum; rant; wax. (Kp: dánag; súl-ong).

36. singka To bark out at someone, bawl; outcry; objurgate. (Kp: túray; kasábà; sínghag).

37. sínghag To bawl; snarl; scoff, to utter a harsh sound (Kp: síngka). Singka consist of understandable words while singhag are non-understandable sounds or words.

38. siplag To agitate; to arouse to anger a person or animal. (Kp: pakasúk-on).

39. sukô – (Arabic: sukik = distrust). Angry: anger, rage. (Kp: itok; súngot; lágot). Itok is a light anger or being incensed. Súngot is annoyed or antagonized. Lágot is being piqued.

40. sulipat – (b.p. sipat). To stare or glower at someone to convey anger or annoyance. (Kp: tútok).

41. Tángis To cry out of anger because one could not do anything for being restrained, as a person being tied and made to witness something bad done to his loved one. (Kp: hílak).

42. túpsok- Expression: “Make a dagger look”. To stare intensely in anger. (Kp: sipat).

43. uyangáy To have an angry look; to show anger by means of staring with the eyes. (Kp: lúrat).
