SP starts proposed 2021 budget hearings

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Committee on Budget, Finance, and Appropriations starts the hearings for the approval of the 2021 provincial budget.

The provincial government’s proposed budget is pegged at P4.68 billion, reports reaching The Bohol Tribune say.

The said committee started the hearings on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020 and presided over by the committee’s vice chairman Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos, the same report bares.

Moreover, Monday’s meeting gathered some heads of offices from the Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Accountant’s Office, Provincial Treasurer’s Office, and the Provincial Planning and Development Office.

Furthermore, the same report reveals that each chief of hospital of the 10 province-owned medical institutions are expected to appear in the committee’s hearing tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020.

Meanwhile, other department heads are invited to attend the said committee’s hearing on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020, according to the same report.
