BPPO organizes relief drive for typhoon victims

The Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) is organizing a relief drive to help victims of typhoon Rolly who are mostly located in the Bicol region.

This was the revelation of Maj. Jacinto Mandal, the chief of the police community relations in the BPPO on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020.

Mandal said that donation nooks are set up in various police stations in the province where donors can drop off their donations for the typhoon victims.

Mandal added that the public may also donate some cash to the victims.

Moreover, all of the collected donations from the different police stations will be turned over to the BPPO headquarters at Camp Francisco Dagohoy and then to the Regional Police Office 7 in Cebu City for distribution to the intended beneficiaries of the donation, Mandal bared to The Bohol Tribune.

According to CNN Philippines the death toll from typhoon Rolly rises to 20 persons.
