Dauis reports new Covid community transmission case

The town government of Dauis reports a new Coronavirus disease (Covid) case which is considered as a community transmission case.

The report was disclosed by the Dauis’ Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (MDRRMO) Queenie Fullante to The Bohol Tribune on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020.

The latest community transmission case involves a male patient, 27 years old, and was swabbed on Nov. 10, 2020 and the result was released on Nov. 11, 2020, Fullante bared to The Bohol Tribune.

Moreover, she adds that the latest Covid patient is already isolated and remains asymptomatic.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old male Covid patient is scheduled to be released from the isolation facility in barangay Mariveles on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020. The patient is a locally stranded individual (LSI) from Manila. He exhibited symptoms of Covid and was swabbed Oct. 28, 2020 and the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test result was released on Oct. 29, 2020, Fullante added to her report.

In a related development, a 20-year-old female Covid patient who is isolated in a facility in barangay San Isidro who was swabbed on Oct. 30, 2020 and the PCR result was released the same day, will be released on Nov. 14, 2020, Fullante revealed.
