“SMILE, Philippines!” hosts big transport group event
With the gradual reopening of the doors of Bohol to meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions, “SMILE, Philippines!” is now accepting bookings for event coordination, hosting and facilitating management with the uncompromising commitment to follow established protocols to help fight the dreaded Covid 19 scare.
Just yesterday, Saturday, (Nov. 14, 2020), the director of “SMILE, Philippines!” Gloria Leodivica Ines Araneta hosted a big transport group event with her team coordinating the activities during the induction and oath taking ceremonies of the group’s board of directors and new set of officers held at the plush function room of Modala Resort, Panglao, Bohol.
The group called The New Bohol International Tourist Transport Group of Panglao is now being led by a dynamic and enterprising lady president, ELVIEH SARMIENTO of LV Transport.
Invited as inducting officer was Kagawad AYA MONTERO-CAINDEC who is actively participating in the different events in the town of Panglao under the leadership of her mother, Mayor Leonila Paredes-Montero.
The program, which started at 9:00 in the morning opened with the singing of hymns followed by the acknowledgement of guests. Welcoming the different attendees was Bernalyn Alcala Gano, a member of the Board of Directors (BOD).
After the members of the BOD and the new set of officers were inducted into office as they took their oath, Kagawad AYA MONTERO-CAINDEC delivered her inspirational message. Kagawad Caindec is currently the Chair of the Committee on Tourism of LGU Panglao. Schooled in the U.S.A, Kagawad Caindec was clearly smooth in the delivery of her message including the facility of her communication.
The acceptance speech of the President ELVIEH SARMIENTO Elvieh Sarmiento proved her mettle in leadership. She is not new to the task as she been leading several groups that have emerged successful in their undertakings and projects. Elvieh owns the LV TRANSPORT business, a leading transport and tour company in the province.
Other messages were deliverd by DANNY REYES of LGU Panglao and JP ORCULLO, head of the Dept. of Tourism, Bohol Extension Office.
The concluding message was delivered by Dennis Pocot, the Vice President of the group. On behalf of the group, Dennis expressed his gratitude for the success of the event and sought prayers for the group’s wonderful outcome of its vision and mission statements.
