Balilihan posts news and information

The local government unit of Balilihan prepares the rice packs from the provincial government to be distributed to households of the said town. The report from the town government says the preparation for the food packs started on Nov. 11, 2020.

Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation gives out indemnity checks to 39 farmer beneficiaries of Balilihan. According to Balilihan Mayor Pureza Chatto the insurance program is intended for rice and corn farmers whose farmlands are affected by natural calamities such as floods, typhoons, drought, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and plant diseases or pests to enable them to recover their losses. The distribution of checks was on Nov. 6, 2020.
