LGU Inabanga sends out newest happenings in town

PROTECTING INB FARMERS. Mayor Josephine Soccoro “Roygie” Jumamoy (photo 1) together with Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) Region 7 Division Chief Anecito Rebayla and PCIC Ubay Extension Office Claim Processor III Christian Owen Vallejos (photo 2), leads the distribution of indemnity checks to 43 Inabangnon farmers at the covered court of barangay Nabuad, Inabanga. Witnessing the said event are Agapito Avenido as representative of Gov. Arthur Yap, teamINABANGAm Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Members Tian Cempron, Romeld Estillore and Nilo Petecio (photo 3). Also present during the distribution of ₱439,973.35 insurance proceeds (photo 4) are PCIC staff and key employees of the Inabanga Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. The local farmers (photos 5 & 6) are victims of previous droughts. teamINABANGA in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and the Provincial Government of Bohol fully supports the program and has enrolled its farmers in the crop insurance program yearly as an safety net in the event of calamities affecting livestock and agricultural products.
