The country’s flag-carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) and carrier Air Asia Philippines eye their respective return to the province by operating commercial flights from Manila to Panglao and vice versa.

According to reports received by The Bohol Tribune on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, PAL announces the return of commercial
flights to the province starting this Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020.

PAL will have three (3) flights per week. The airline will have trips on Wednesdays, Friday and Sunday, the report adds.

The resumption of flights is considered to be a timely move as Bohol has reopened its tourism industry, although limited to meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) events.

For its part, Air Asia Philippines said it will resume its commercial flights starting on Dec. 1, 2020, the report from the Manila Standard reveals.

The same report says Air Asia Philippines will offer 50% discount on tickets purchased on or before Nov. 22, 2020. The travel dates of the discounted ticket prices is between Dec. 1 to Dec. 30, 2020.

The budget carrier Air Asia Philippines will serve the Manila-Panglao route four (4) times a week. Air Asia Philippines will have flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. This schedule is applicable from Dec. 1-15, 2020.
