Drug suspect gets injured following foiled escape try from police

A male drug suspect is reportedly injured as he tried to escape arrest following a drug buy bust operation, a police report says.

The report added that the police are able to seize at least P170,000 worth of suspected shabu after the conduct of the buy bust operation.

The same report bares the buy bust operation happened on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020.

The report identified the suspect as a certain Felipe Calipusan, 25, a native of Loboc town, and temporarily residing in barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City.

The report reveals that the suspect engaged in a transaction with an undercover cop where there was an alleged sale of suspected shabu.

Upon sensing that the buyer is a law enforcement agent in disguise, the suspect tried to escape by jumping through a window located at the back portion of his house.

Moreover, the suspect reportedly fell on his back resulting to minor injuries.

The suspect is now under the custody of the city police force as he faces charges of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
