Talibon releases information on town’s projects and progress

Guv brings HEART caravan to Talibon
Gov. Arthur Yap visits Talibon to bring the HEART (Health, Education, Agriculture, Rural Development, Tourism) Caravan, where various services are extended to the people of the said town for free.
The caravan’s visit took place on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, a report from the local government unit of Talibon says.
Mayor Janette Garcia said that the provincial government provided, among others, free medical check-up, free medicines, free haircut, free legal services, distribution of school supplies for children living in island barangays and a milk feeding program for malnourished children,
Moreover, Garcia said that the governor also turned over a P1 million in check for the town’s waterworks project.
