About 34 close contacts of the 9-month-old infant, test negative for Coronavirus disease (Covid) infection.
In a post on Dec. 3, 2020, Lila mayor Arturo Jed Piollo broke the story about the negative results of the close contacts. The swab testing of the close contacts is the product of the contact tracing efforts of the town.
It was earlier reported that an infant got infected by the virus causing Covid.
Moreover, the infant’s case is considered as a community transmission as he/she had no travel history to a place considered to be a Covid hotspot.
