The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) is slated to conduct a special session on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, to tackle urgent matters.
Due to the Dec. 8, 2020 holiday, the SP had no regular session last Tuesday.
The SP conducts a special session this week to discuss urgent matters that are needed to be tackled, according to Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos in a telephone interview on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020.
He provided The Bohol Tribune a copy of the special session’s agenda.
The agenda include a request from the governor for the SP to pass a resolution giving the former the authority to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) region 7, for the release of funds for Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS).
The governor also asks the SP for an authority to sign a MOA with the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC)for the implementation of the Serbisyong Sambayanan program.
Moreover, the governor requests the SP for authority to sign the contract for the implementation of the contact tracing card, including the donation of 500,000 to secure smart cards with quick response code and the implementation of the system.
