Mga Lugpong sa Alamsulat

(Terms in Literature)

Ang kasagaran nga mga pulong ug lugpong nga akong gipanudlò nahiuyon lamang sa mga batà. Tungod kini kay ang akong gipakadak-an sa akong pagpanudlò sa Binisayâ nahitumbok lamang sa mga alabay (pupils) gikan sa pulangán (Kindergarted) ug hangtok sa ika-3 nga ang-ang.

Niadtong niagi nga adlaw sa Ligidligid nagtigom ang kapunungan sa LUDABI. Didto pa ako makamatikod nga daghan na diay ang adunay kasibot sa alamsulat (literature) tungod kay daghan ang nangutana unsa ang mga Binisayà nga pulong o lugpong nga sagad sa akong mga kauban sa LUDABI nahibalo lamang sa Ininglis. Lugpong sa Alamsulat:

1. adage (saying) – sanglitánan, panultihón

2. aphorism (brief statement of a truth) – sanglitánan, riprán, panig-íngnan, panultihón

3. drama (stage play, written composition) – dúwà, dúlà, dúlà sa bantawán, dráma (Sp.)

4. epic poem bayaníhong bálak, kandó epikó (Sp.). Syn. kompóso, kurido

6. essayist (writer) – liggumaláysay

7. fable (children’s stories) – sudumantánon, pabulá (Sp.). Syn. púsong, sugiráan
