37 Tubigon families receive emergency shelter assistance
The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tubigon holds a ceremonial turnover and distribution of Emergency Shelter Assistance (ESA) to 37 Tubignon families, a report from the town government said.
These 37 recipients were among the displaced families whose houses were totally destroyed due to the 2013 earthquake.
Each of the 37 beneficiaries received P30,000 as shelter assistance.
The beneficiaries who organized themselves as a homeowner association, are partnering with the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), the lead government agency undertaking the financing of social housing programs.
The members of the association pledge to use the assistance they received for the monthly amortization of their future homes.
