Active Coronavirus disease (Covid) in Bohol drops to 29, according to a report by the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) spokesman.
This is a significant drop from a high of 154 at the start of December 2020, where there was a surge of Covid cases here.
Dr. Tomas Cesar Lopez, BIATF spokesman revealed the drop in the number of Covid cases in Bohol in a virtual presser on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020.
He said that based on BIATF data, there are only two (2) active community transmissions cases left in Bohol.
The two (2) community transmission cases that remain active are from Sikatuna town and Carmen town.
According to the latest data, around 16 persons in Bohol have died due to Covid.
