Tagbilaran Media Bureau presents reports of city’s news and information

The Tagbilaran City Health Office is recognized as the top performing local government unit on percentage of fully-immunized child during its Virtual Local Health Systems awarding ceremonies. The Department of Health Region 7 recognizes the efforts and commitment of the City Health Office to provide quality services to the people of Tagbilaran. The awarding ceremonies transpired virtually on Dec. 11, 2020, the City Media Bureau report says.

Tagbo saTagbi aims to help MSMEs

The City Government of Tagbilaran, with the technical assistance from the  United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Strengthening Urban Resilience for Growth with Equity (SURGE), is organizing “Tagbo saTagbi” Tagbilaran Online Food Bazaar as part of its ongoing efforts to support recovery, growth, and sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in this time of the pandemic. The project is also aimed at enhancing the efficiency and profitability of their existing business ventures. 

For those interested to join, these are the steps to be followed: 1) join first the Tagbo saTagbi FB page; 2). post an advertisement of the product your enterprise wishes to promote giving these information: the name of your business establishment, the products being sold by your business establishment, the price of the product, and the seller’s contact details. Moreover, for the food lover and the food enthusiast, please join the FB page of Tagbo saTagbi. Kindly browse the posts, make orders by commenting directly to the posts to make contact with the seller, and then post a review and share your personal experience.

In a related development, City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II thanked all the sellers who joined the food bazaar during the virtual launch.
“The City Government of Tagbilaran sees the plight of its macro, small and medium entrepreneurs particularly those who are in the food business and recognizes the need to help them recover and grow from the harsh effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on their businesses”, Yap said.
