Loon town releases information on recent projects

The Coastal Law Enforcement Council cluster 2 releases the photograph of the speedboat it received from the provincial government to be used for coastal law enforcement.

CLEC 2 receives speed boat from PGBh
The chairman of the Coastal Law Enforcement Council cluster 2 and Loon Mayor Elvi Relampagos receives a speed boat from the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) through the Bohol Environmental Management Office (BEMO), according to an information provided by the Municipality of Loon.
The speed boat was turned over to the CLEC 2 on Dec. 2, 2020, according to the same report.
CLEC 2 is composed of the towns of Loon, Cortes, Maribojoc, and Calape. The report said that the new speedboat is a huge boost to the coastal law implementation efforts of the council especially against illegal fishing.
It can be remembered that CLEC 2 won the Best CLEC in 2018 for its efforts in implementing coastal law.
