Panglao discloses news of latest events

A reef ranger of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of the Local Government Unit of Panglao performs a coral transplantation in one of the dive sites in the town. Coral transplantation is a great way to improve the reef quality in the sea waters. Panglao Mayor Leonila Montero addresses the beneficiaries of the financial assistance program coming from the Department of Social Welfare and Development through the initiative of Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go. The lady mayor reached out to the senator for some cash assistance and relief goods for the displaced workers and persons with disabilities in her town. The DSWD handed a cash assistance of P3,000 to each beneficiary. Moreover, 20 tablets and 30 bicycles were given during the event as raffle prizes. The distribution of assistance happened on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020.
