PDEA, PNP seize P3.4 M worth of suspected shabu in Baclayon drug ops

A composite team from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA( and the Philippine National Police (PNP) seized half a kilo of suspected shabu following a drug buy bust operation against two (2) identified high value drug suspects in Baclayon town.

A report from the provincial office of the PDEA says that they conducted a drug buy bust operation at purok 5, barangay Laya, Baclayon at around 3:03 pm on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020.

The report identifies the suspects as Enrique Calamba Loreniana, 28, of barangay Bonbon, Loboc and Mario Avenido Loquellano, 28, of barangay Poblacion, Dauis.

The report adds that the operatives were able to seize two packs of suspected shabu weighing more or leas half a kilo with a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) street value of P3.4 million.

The two suspects are facing charges of violation of section 5 and section 11 of Republic Act 9165 , according to the PDEA.
