The active Coronavirus disease (Covid) in Bohol is down to 25 cases after the level of cases reached 154 active cases at the onset of this month.
Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) spokesman Dr. Tomas Cesar Lopez said out of the 25 active cases, three (3) cases are touted to be community transmissions.
He reported the latest statistics in a virtual presser on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020.
He said the community transmission cases in Bohol are from Carmen, Sikatuna, and Talibon.
The total of Covid-related deaths in Bohol remains at 16, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health (DOH) advises the people to skip having parties and to refrain from going to places where a huge number of people congregate and it would be difficult to follow social distancing protocol.
Reports say the DOH is bracing for the possibility of a spike in the number Covid cases and put much pressure on the healthcare system.
