Man stabs dead his live-in partner’s father, brother in San Isidro town

Allegedly, out of jealousy a man in San Isidro town, reports say, went on a stabbing spree, killing his live-in partner’s father and brother.

The suspect also stabbed his live-in partner but the latter survived the knife attack and was rushed to a hospital in the city.

The incident happened on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 23, 2020, according to a police report provided to The Bohol Tribune by San Isidro police.

The suspect, identified as a certain Rexcel Magos, was arrested hours after the commission of the crime. He was arrested in Mabini town.

The suspect’s live-in partner is identified as Angel May Andoy. The report also identified the Angel May’s father and brother as Adriano Andoy and Aljun Andoy respectively.

According to the report, the suspect broke into the victims’ home, where the live-in partner was staying, at around 2 am on Wednesday.

The suspect, upon gaining entry into the house, allegedly went on a stabbing spree while the victims were sleeping.

After the commission of the crime, the suspect fled and reportedly hid in a relative’s house in Mabini town.

The father and the brother died on the spot while the live-in partner was rushed to a hospital in Tagbilaran City.

The suspect was arrested following a hot pursuit operation conducted by the joint forces of San Isidro and Mabini police stations.

The reports bare that appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect.
