DAMPAS CHILDREN ATTEND ANNUAL FEEDING AND GIFT-GIVING ACTIVITY. City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II (third from left) and First Lady Jane Yap (second from left) with the City Mayor’s Office staff are more than eager as they show a happy disposition during the city’s yearly outreach activity at the City Hall where not less than 100 kids from the Dampas dumpsite are treated to some food, gifts, games and prizes. Mayor Yap and his wife Jane Yap express their appreciation to the sponsors of the outreach activity including the following: Globe Telecoms through its marketing head Eden Ceballos; the Tagbilaran branch manager of Philippine Veterans Bank Janelle Ampo; City General Services Office; City Health Office and the Barangay Council of Dampas.

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS CONTINUE. Even with the health crisis due to the pandemic, the City Government, under the leadership of Mayor John Geesnell Yap II, continues with the implementation of its infrastructure projects. Upper photo shows the ongoing road concreting activity at Espuelas Street (from the Tagbilaran Circumferential Road to Happy Valley Street). Lower photo shows the additional 4-storey building constructed within the campus of the City Central School. This project is in partnership with the Department of Education through the office of Undersecretary Revsee Escobedo.

TAGBILARAN CITY WINS GREAT HONORS IN ‘KASADYA 2020’. Tagbilaran City, under the baton of Mayor John Geesnell Yap II, grabs a big prize in the announcement of for Kasadya 2020. Tagbilaran City is the top winner in the Dayegon Contest bringing home a prize of P200,000. Moreover, it is the third prize winner in the Belen contest with a cash prize of P 100,000. The image shows the winning entry of the city in the Belen Contest. This belen still majestically stands now to the right of the main entrance of the city hall.
